Information for Tenants

If you are looking for a property to rent, then look no further. We at Sue Bridges strive to ensure the whole process of renting a property is as quick and hassle free as it can be for you; from finding the perfect property, to completing an application and moving in. We know moving can be a stressful time so we will on hand every step of the way to answer any queries and guide you through the process to make your experience a blissful and stress free one!

Once you have found your ideal property, you will be required to complete an application and a holding deposit will become payable. This is calculated at one weeks rent and is due upon application. Should you or any relevant person (including any guarantor), change your mind and withdraw your application then this payment is non-refundable and it will be withheld. If you do go on to be successful the amount will be deducted from your first months rent. Under the Tenants Fees Ban Act the holding deposit will also be withheld in any of the following circumstances;

If any relevant person (including any guarantor(s)) fail a Right-to-Rent check, provide materially significant false or misleading information, or fail to sign their tenancy agreement (and / or Deed of Guarantee) within 15 calendar days (or other Deadline for Agreement as mutually agreed in writing).

The whole application process usually takes around one week to complete, so once this has passed as acceptable you are well on the way to moving into your new property!
